Kershner Sledziewski Law is a boutique real estate, commercial finance, and litigation law firm. We represent buyers, sellers, and investors of real estate throughout the Chicagoland area, as well as traditional and non-traditional lenders.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Employing four amazing humans gives me a lot of joy. I have a fantastic, dedicated team and I enjoy watching them learn and grow. Nothing is more rewarding than closing a deal or succesfully navigating a court case that the whole firm is involved in to make happen.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
A white sand beach, crystal clear water, a magazine and no cell phone.
What is something new that you learned about running a business this year?
Challenges lead to growth. The future is totally unpredictable; in a matter of days we went from enjoying our beautiful new office space to working in our living rooms for a few months, but we’ve come out more efficient, paperless, and forward-looking than ever.
What is your motto?
It’s not the destination that matters, it’s the journey.
When running your business, what do you struggle with most?
Delegation. I truly love all aspects of my work so sometimes it is hard to let go of tasks that others are far more qualified to handle.
What advice would you give to yourself at 25 years old?
Relax a little.
