FUNDAY is a boutique, on-demand, drop-off play space, and activity center located at Westfield Old Orchard Mall. With busy parents and kids in mind, our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and creative space for the kids to play while the parents are away

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
After having raised my kids and helped my husband build his career, I embarked on a 360 journey with Funday where I daily face the challenges of a business owner while still managing my family and personal lives outside work.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
To be able to do something that you love and makes you a better person yet giving the opportunity to make a positive contribution on the life of others.
What is your greatest fear?
To be unhealthy enough that I cannot enjoy my life.
Whom do you most admire?
My husband for being so driven and passionate about what he does. His ability to turn stressful situations into learning experiences and his tremendous dedication and hard work still mesmerizes me.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would not change a thing. I am far from perfect and continuously learn from my mistakes. They give me the chance to do better, to grow as an individual, and thus becoming a better person.
What are your top tips for balancing work and life?
Make time for yourself, for your family and your friends. Do things that are important and make you happy outside work. Set boundaries between the two worlds and try to balance them. It is not always easy, but it is worth it!
What is something new that you learned about running a business this year?
That with challenging situations, there is also good opportunities. You have be creative and if you do a quality job, people are going to support you no matter what.
What is your most marked characteristic?
Caring about others and giving back all the good that surrounds me.
What is your greatest regret?
I have no regrets.
What is your motto?
You will hardly regret doing it. So dare and go for it!
When running your business, what do you struggle with most?
Finding qualified and dedicated staff with a certain degree of professionalism and commitment to the success of our business. Besides that, adapting to challenging circumstances while at the same time leveraging the opportunities that arise from them.
What advice would you give to yourself at 25 years old?
It is never too late to start. Believe in yourself and in your potential. Whatever you perceive, you can achieve.
