What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement was starting up Lance CPA Group– starting the company from scratch and getting it to a place where it employs 16 people is exciting and fulfilling.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Spending time with my family on a vacation.
What are your top tips for balancing work and life?
The ability to say no– I used to say yes to most everything that comes my way. Learning to say no has allowed me the ability to balance work and life as I have more control as to what goes on in my life.
What is something new that you learned about running a business this year?
I have learned that staying nimble and agile will allow you to deal with anything being thrown your way. We were able to pivot quickly to providing some new services to our clients that were needed given the pandemic and we were able provide a lot of value to them as a result.
What advice would you give to yourself at 25 years old?
Don’t allow the possibility of failure to stop you from taking risk. The rewards only come by those willing to take risks and try new things.
