Please provide a brief description about your company.

Avatria is a Chicago-based digital commerce company founded in 2014 by a team of industry veterans. We use our extensive consulting experience to help our customers plan, develop, and implement the software solutions that allow them to meet their business objectives. Additionally, we’ve developed a machine learning software product called Avatria Convert that uses analytics data to help customers optimize their websites and product offerings. By using our cutting-edge technologies, our customers are able to improve their bottom line and differentiate themselves from the competition.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Building Avatria from nothing to a stable business that now supports 18 employees and dozens of contractors

Whom do you most admire?

My parents – leaving a successful business behind in India to come to the US and effectively starting over, initially having to work two jobs just to put food on the table.

What is something new that you learned about running a business this year?

Running a business during a pandemic is hard – finding a way to balance unique business challenges with the personal impacts of the virus.

What is your most marked characteristic?

Level headed

When running your business, what do you struggle with most?

Time. There are a lot of things to get done, and never enough time to make headway on everything in a given day or week.

What advice would you give to yourself at 25 years old?

Learn as much as you can and don’t be afraid to take risks.
