FUNDAY is a boutique, on-demand, drop-off play space, and activity center located at Westfield Old Orchard Mall. With busy parents and kids in mind, our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and creative space for the kids to play while the parents are away.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
It was to allow myself to follow a dream and venture into an entrepreneurial life that is definitely not easy and only possible with the support of my husband, my kids, and my business partner

To be able to match a passion with a deep sense of purpose

The things that are out of my control
Whom do you most admire?
The people I most admire are the ones I really know. I have respect for what they do and the efforts they make on a daily basis. My father’s resilience. My husband’s dedication. My grandma’s capacity of navigating through life with the biggest smile.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would not change anything. We all need our imperfections so we can use them as a step to grow.

What is something new that you learned about running a business this year?
This year has been extremely challenging for all business owners, I am not going to sugar coat it, it thought me to embrace discomfort and embrace the changes that are out of my control

Being able to connect with people at different levels and build long-term relationships

Mistakes are part of the game. You can’t nurture regrets

Everything happens for an opportunity

When running your business, what do you struggle with most?
Being a entrepreneur is never a smooth road, you need to get used to wearing multiple hats and stay focused. There is always a way to make it happen!
What advice would you give to yourself at 25 years old?
Don’t make decisions based on fear. Know when to say no. Stay humble, give back and enjoy the ride.
